Players and officials at Woodhall Spa Football Club are looking forward to the imminent completion of the major developments to their pavilion / clubhouse. It has taken nearly 3 years of hard work and fundraising to reach this stage. The facilities have been brought up to FA standard with 4 brand new changing rooms, 2 new officials rooms, a new kitchen and a long-awaited community room.

The official opening of the new pavilion is on Saturday 10th September at 11am.   Robert Webb, Woodhall Spa born comedy writer/actor (star of the Peep Show and Mitchell & Webb etc.) will be cutting the ribbon.

Robert WebbVictoria Atkin MP will also be in attendance, along with other dignitaries from the main funders – the FA, Sport England, Wren and others. The Project has cost £365,000, all raised from funders and the Club. We are all very proud of our new Pavilion, offering modern and safe facilities for our 14 teams over 180 children and young adults.
The opening will be followed by a veterans football match – Woodhall vs.
Horncastle. There will also be a BBQ and bar. Everyone is welcome.

The celebrations will be continued on Sunday 11th Sept from 10am onwards. All the junior teams will take part in matches throughout the day either friendly or league matches.

Club Chairman Andy Avison added: “These are very exciting times, not just for the football club, but for Woodhall Spa in general. The Club has been in the village for well over 100 years and with the help of the Lincolnshire FA, the FA, the club and the residents of the local villages, we are all in a position to help guarantee it’s future and continue to be one of the larger successful village clubs in the county”.
